A Peaceful Retreat in Sonoma County
Spend a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway in this one-of-a-kind, hand-restored 1964 redwood cabin. You’ll find your retreat just 65 miles north of San Francisco in West Sonoma County. Nestled on an acre of redwood trees in beautiful Forestville, our charming two bedroom cabin brings the outside in with skylights in every room.
Sleep Soundly
Each room features floor-to-ceiling windows with redwood groves and garden views. The bedrooms have skylights over the beds where you can see the Milky Way. Comfortable beds include a California king in the master bedroom, queen bed in the office, and an almost full-size pull-out sofa in the living room.
Sit Back and Relax
Details include walls of glass overlooking redwood groves and garden areas, an oversized stone fireplace with a wood-burning stove, and two redwood decks. Outside areas include Adirondack chairs, conversation areas and a hammock. Kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry areas are fully stocked.

We manage the cabin ourselves which means that every detail is carefully cared for, and the guest experience is always top of mind. We take the time to get it picture perfect, inside and out, for our guests, with every stay. Admittedly, we're slightly obsessed with keeping the cabin sparkling clean, and all linens (including blankets, pillows, and coverlets) are sanitized well in advance of each stay.
Starlink has come to the cabin and now we offer some cell phone, internet, and wifi access.
